I know that it is God’s job to render judgment on Casey Anthony. Yet I do have the right to my opinion. I hope that Casey feels like a prisoner the rest of her life by the millions of people who think she is a child killer. Mean spirited on my part? Maybe.

At 7:33 a.m., I’m sound asleep (with earplugs in too) and what do I hear, right at my bedroom door, which startles me awake and scares the shit out of me….. My mother. Once again. Talking (ahem….I use that word loosely!) as loud as Andrea Bocelli singing one of his opera songs. Mind you, she’s talking this way to Grandma, and everything she is saying is proving once again her complete lack of patience. UGH!!
I’m so frustrated with this!!!!
I vented. I’m done.

P.S. I forgot to mention that I have not been feeling well (nerves, etc) and I’m trying to avoid ALL negativity. Doesn’t seem like she wants to cooperate with my plan to feel better. Oh well.

HAPPY FALL!!
I thought I would share some pictures with you tonight of the yard work/cleanup of the landscaping in the front of the house that I did last Saturday. On the advice of a neighbor, I planted planted two very pretty purple-colored spiky plants (can’t think of the name of them), but as they grew, they overtook the landscape. I didn’t like it. It looked so messy and sloppy. So, I yanked them out…. along with ALL of the Hosta. The Hosta was looking so sad after all these years. I can’t tell you how many times I have split those Hosta and they just kept growing back into very large plants. Unfortunately for them, I was on a ‘simplify things’ mission, and they were outa-there!!!!

Hi Everyone! I just thought I would share with you a picture of the Fall Hardy Clematis that I planted last fall by our lamp post. It’s really filling out and is so pretty!! On the other side, I planted the regular tropical-looking Clematis, but it didn’t do very well this summer. Actually, most of the plants in our yard did only fair, probably because of the unusually hot and humid weather.
By the way, pay no attention to the neighbor’s yard across the street. Their yard sticks out like a sore thumb in this neighborhood. They have planted everything possible in their yard, and then some. It’s a bit obnoxious, really.

UP!
This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other
two-letter word, and that word is 'UP.'
It is listed in the
dictionary as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v].
It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky
or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP?
At a meeting, why does a topic come UP?
Why do we speak UP, and why are the
officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to
write UP a report? We call UP our friends, brighten UP a
room, polish UP the silver, warm UP the leftovers and
clean UP the kitchen.
We lock UP the house and fix UP the old car.
At other times this little word has real special
meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for
tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses.
To be dressed is one thing but to be
dressed UP is special.
And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is
stopped UP.
We open UP a store in the morning but we close
it UP at night. We seem to be pretty
mixed UP about UP !
To be knowledgeable about the proper
uses of UP, look UP the word UP in the dictionary. In a
desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can
add UP to about thirty definitions If you are UP to it, you might try
building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will
take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may
wind UP with a hundred or more.
When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP.
When the sun comes out we say it is clearing UP.
When it rains, it soaks UP the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry UP.

Guess what? I had a GREAT time Friday night! And best of all…..I didn’t have a panic attack! I did have a little bit of anxiety/fear, for which I took a little Xanax. I am soooo pleased with myself and with how the evening turned out. There was no drama and everyone had a good time. Success! 
Saturday I just puttered around the house, played Farmville, enjoyed a delicious strawberry-lime margarita and crocheted a little. I am slightly addicted to the game Farmville that is played on Facebook. I originally signed up for Facebook a couple of years ago because a few close friends were on it. I had no intention of getting involved with it – mainly because I have this blog and if anyone is curious about my life and what I’m up to, I figure they can come over here and find out. Ya know? Well, I didn’t really stick to that concept and have been playing around over on Facebook consistently for two weeks. Shame on me! It will stop soon though. Once gardening weather comes around, I won’t have time to play on the ‘puter.
Time for bed. I have a long day tomorrow. As you know, I’m caregiver to my 96-year-old grandma and I have her and usually have help from my mom, but she is going on a casino trip, so I have no backup tomorrow. (I told mom to win a lot of money so we can buy a small greenhouse. She rolled her eyes! hahahahahhaha

We finally got a break in the weather! We have had sunshine for 3 days in a row, and we’re actually having a real sunset right this minute!! Orange, pink, purple, and red.

While rearranging some items in the food pantry, I came across a container of outdated bread crumbs, so I set it aside to be thrown in the garbage outside. I got distracted and walked away from that project.
Meanwhile, mom saw them sitting on the counter and instead of throwing them in the garbage, she dumped them in the utility sink and ran the water.
YUP! She ran the water!
Then the water stopped going down the drain!
Can you say…. DUH!!!!
