Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR MONDAY, March 2, 2008 (it's Tuesday at 2:50 am)

Outside my window..
. Crispy and cold! 2 degrees tonight and a lot of snow coming down again. *Yawn!* It's really getting old!

I am thinking... About how to organize the craft explosion on my dining room table.

I am thankful for... An email I received regarding a job offer! Yippie!

From the kitchen... Nothing special this week. Although, I did go to a thrift store yesterday morning and found a bread maker for $6.50. I didn't realize the kneading blade was missing. Searched all over internet for replacement, but the part is no longer being made. Oh well. So much for fresh homemade bread - For now! *Wink*

I am wearing... Jammies.

I am creating... Felted wool pillow and felted wool blanket. Also, working on charity lapghan #2.

I am going... CooCoo!!

I am reading... An Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie. I love Hercules Poroit!

I am hoping... Hmmmm? Too many things to list.

I am hearing... Room humidifier fan.

Around the house... There are little threads and fuzzies on the carpet from my craft project. Time to vacuum up my mess!

One of my favorite things... Laying in bed while using my PDA. It's convenient and promotes laziness!!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Just working and crafting. No money to go anywhere. :-(

You might try asking for the bread machine part on the Freecycle site in your area. I am willing to bet someone has that same machine stuffed in a closet or pantry and doesn't use it anymore. Or, ask at the thrift shop. They may have the part loose somewhere.

I am listening to Affair at Styles now. I have read many of Agatha Christie's books - love all of them.

Stay warm today & good luck on the job search.
