Hi Everyone! How are you?
As usual, the snow-machine is cranked on high here!
I went to the doctor today for medication refills and to discuss my headaches. I realized, while sitting in the room waiting for my doc, that I absolutely have SAD (seasonal affective disorder.) I’m sooooo not my usual self. Anyhow, back to the headache issue. The doc thinks that it’s a symptom of barometric pressure changes. My arthritis and bursitis is very sensitive to it, so why not headaches. I’m going to keep an informal diary on the headaches and we’ll discuss it next office visit.
Meanwhile, I’ve been busy crocheting and sending out resumes. No answers on a job yet. But I am getting a lot of crochet projects done. Check out the baby blanket and turtle that I made for my young cousin. I really like the color gradient!
I also made her a white baby hat and booties, and a bib. I didn’t take a picture of the hat and booties…oops!
A couple of weeks ago, I made two pairs of fingerless gloves for my girlfriend Denise. I think they turned out really neat! She likes to scrunch them up at the sleeve area so I widened that area.
Red Heart Super Saver yarn:
Jiffy Wool yarn - shorter fingerless gloves.
Sorry for such bad pictures. They aren’t very artistic, but I just wanted to get a picture of this stuff and post it before I go to bed tonight.
Listen everyone - I hope you have a quiet and relaxing weekend! Get cozy with the ones you love!
Stay Warm!
