Morning! That's how I've been feeling for about four days - rough around the edges. I've been a little stressed out due to taking care of grandma (95-years-old) and mom who has been laid up for over a month, lack of work from my job, therefore, lack of money to pay bills, close friends getting a divorce, good friend's parents were in a house explosion (gas leak) and her mother died, father is in serious condition still, no mojo for card making, and not sticking to a descent sleep pattern.
Now for the positive stuff! I have been more aware of my conversations with God and the Angels. I am so thankful to have them to talk out my problems and worries.
I finished an afghan that I was working on and gifted it to my girlfriend for herself or for her father while he is recovering from 2nd degree burns. I wish there was more I could do, but I want to give her some space to grieve and to nurse her father back to health.
Here is a picture of the afghan. I like the color combination. I did make a mistake on it though, but I do not concern myself with mistakes. That's what makes it a one-of-a-kind from me! (Here is Frankie showing off the afghan. Boy does he need to get groomed, but I'm waiting for spring so I can get him shaved.)
I have a goal to donate at least 5 lapghans to the local rehab/nursing home by the end of the year. That may not sound like much, but I'm a busy, busy, busy! I started one over the weekend, but have not had much time to devote to it.
I like using the N hook with the Jiffy (mohair-like) yarn. It's sooooo soft! I have two containers-full of different color yarn that I bought last year when I had money! hahahaha! Now I just have to use it up!
Geesh, it's morning like this one that I wish I drank caffeine. I'm up early because I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. I feel sluggish, eyes all saggy... I look just lovely! YUK! Hopefully I won't be too much of a crab-ass today!
Have a nice day everyone!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Your afghan is beautiful: I like the color combination, too.
Frankie could be a twin to my neighbor's dog, Tilda. She always barks at me from the front window when I go get the mail. My neighbor tells me that she waits for me to go by. I guess it is her way of saying, "Hello."
Thank you so much Nancy! I hope my friend likes it. I mailed it out two days ago, so I don't think she got it yet.
That's so cute that the neighbor dog keeps an eye on you! Do you have a pet of your own?
