Oh So True Maxine!

It's pretty ironic.... I was just telling my mother that 80% of the drug commercials are the side effects and warnings. What's the point. The drugs I have been seeing advertised seem to be the type that only 5% of the American population would take anyhow. Silly, really, to be spending all that money on the commercial.

Just my observation.

I think they are silly, too, but they must be effective or they wouldn't produce them.

I cannot imagine going into the doctor's office and saying, "I would like to try drug X." I trust my doctor to make informed decisions about my care and the medication that will work the best.

Drug commercials on the TV and in magazines are all hype and totally unnecessary.
